We are a general contractor/design firm that works in both modular and traditional stick-built construction. We knew we needed a website to not only illustrate the breadth of our services, but also to show samples of our work. It was an undertaking none of us looked forward to. We did finally take initial steps with a designer and paid him a large deposit but soon discovered that he expected us to plot the site as well as provide content and photographs. While we fully expected to be responsible for what was on the site, we thought the designer would guide us through the process. Needless to say, the entire endeavor stalled and we continued to founder.

Then we were referred to Top of Mind Web Design. Adam came equipped with an idea of what he thought the site should look like but was also open to our suggestions. He gave thoughtful objections if he felt we were going down the wrong road and enthusiastically endorsed those ideas he found worthwhile. He even taught us how to upload new photos and content ourselves so we can keep the site fresh as new building projects come along.

We thought we were finished once the site was complete but then Adam set out to optimize it so westernhillshomes.com would be found when the appropriate key words were entered in the major search engines. He explained that it's not enough to have a website if the people that need your services can't find you.

When I first came to Adam, it was through a referral of someone I trusted. I was game to give it a try. At the beginning I did not even have my ebook in a form that was saleable. However, Adam came up with some brilliant ideas for the cover and I still love it each day as if it were brand new.

Adam made it easy for me. In the process, along the path, there were choices to make. I did not always have enough information to make the decision and actually didn’t even know that I didn’t have enough information to make the decision. Adam gently nudged me in the right direction and I am grateful for each decision I made because of his support and breadth of knowledge.

As the owner of a small business I had long felt that a web site would be a very large asset. I felt that having my own web site would give my business a look of true professionalism and believability when talking to new clients and vendors. It's a great feeling to be able to say "check out my web site". Quite frankly I was scared to death and more than a little intimidated by the prospect of building my web site.
